The other day I went to bed super early and I usually never do so felt weird about it. After I fell asleep I rested for about 3 hours before I woke up at 10:10pm I woke up in fear I knew something wasn’t right. So I looked around my room the other girls were sleeping. So I closed my eyes and started praying “Lord keep me safe” I still didn’t feel good. So I look around my room and outside my window I saw a man. He was in the form of my biggest fear, fear of the unknown. He was sketched man but I knew it was him. I closed my eyes and started praying! In my head I said “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” the first bang happen down stairs yet I still didn’t feel right. So I started repeating scripture in my head; however, nothing changed. So the Lord whispered in my ear “Your words have power”. So out loud I said “ I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” then the second louds bang happened down stairs and peace flooded my room. I felt this cold weight on my back and cold on my neck. For the first time ever in my life I felt the Lords physical peace. I immediately call my leader to wake up all the other girls. “Lindsay wake up, we need to wake up the girls and give thanks to the Lord, for he has saved us.” So we did and we started praying. After we were done praying Annie Laurie said “this was so weird when we were praying my shoulders were being lifted. It felt like I wasn’t carrying something anymore.” The Lord kept revealing to us his goodness. Later on we all went down stairs to go to the restroom. Suddenly I turned and I saw the blue chair that has fallen. It was right by my window where I saw the man last. In that moment I knew the man was not alone. All the dots were being connected in that moment. After a while most of the girls went to bed but I could not fall back asleep. Some of the girls couldn’t fall asleep so we stayed up and later on the fell a sleep. For the rest of the night I kept thinking “why me?” But I still felt his presence and his comfort. The following day woke up and told our host, Courtney. He later on told Vandy the owner, what has happen. He told Courtney he wanted to speak to me about it. So In the afternoon I was able to speak to Vandy, he told me “this is the first time in 10 years that someone’s noticed there are spirits here. Most of the teams that come here don’t see the spiritual warfare that happens in Cambodia but it’s weird that you guys do.” He continue to explain that this village has a lot of people that practice witch craft. He said the Lord has you all here for a purpose and is interesting to see how the Lord will reveal the rest. Our team has had a lot of spiritual warfare but for me I wasn’t able to sleep for so many nights. I would continue wake up at the same time every night. So in those moments I would just spend time with the Lord reminding my self of his faithfulness. The Lord is good and he is doing big this here.
