Seasons of growth are complicated.

There are certain "growing pains" involved (there's your Kirk Cameron reference. Should I have gone with Michael J. Fox's "Family Ties" instead??).

As we grow, we are irreversibly stretched.

As we are elevated in responsibility,  we are lifted above and away from things we have grown accustomed to.

As we are filled up with the greatness that The Lord has for us, something else has to flood out.

When we called to something, we often have to leave something behind.

Our hearts are caught in the middle of this tug of war;

the sake of love vs the sting of longing.

It's a reality that certainly isn't new for me this year, but it is by no means easier to grapple.

Starting this new season of leadership brings a galaxy of possibilities with my leadership team, but still the loss of membership of another hangs over head.

But, there is excitement on the horizon.

It is for Christ's will that we abandon our own.

It is in Him that we find not only grace to endure but the promise of greater, fuller, bigger, and wilder things ahead.

One of my favorite quotes is, "Sometimes the best way to get people loose from their past is to connect them to their dreaming for their future."

I can't contain myself when I dream about what God has in store for this Squad.

It's not the first test for this heart of mine, but it is the one with the most hope and assurance of the ridiculous things He has left for us.

I love my Almighty P-Squad.

It is crazy to think how much more God loves them that I can't comprehend it… I can only dare to dream things as bold as He wants to make our realities.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————– I am still in need of another $3,800 before July 1st to COMPLETE my fundraising. If you feel led or know someone who may be inclined to donate, please click the "Support Me" link to the left of this page or share this blog site.
Be blessed. Be love.
