Sharol – It was destined that we speak to Sharol.
We tried partnering with the DreamCenter to help out on Skid Row but we had sack lunches to get rid of before they went bad. So we drive cluelessly around the city trying to find San Julian Street. We stop and ask for directions and finally catch a break. We stop to park after we locate San Julian Street and don’t think we are close enough so we drive some more. After realizing the place we were at was perfect we go back and park.
That’s when Michelle saw Sharol. We are waiting on the sidewalk for the crosswalk to flash that we can walk as Michelle turns to this woman she is standing by and says, “Wait, I know you don’t I?” The woman looks at Michelle and says a nonchalant , “Probably so.” After further talking Michelle and Sharol realize that they do know each other. A year ago Michelle heard Sharol give her testimony and prayed with her. Now after a year of being out in the nations God brought them back together!
She talked to us about her health problems and that she still finds peace and hope in Jesus. She talked about someone robbing her, taking her phone and toiletries. We encouraged her and asked if we could pray for her. She said, “Yes of course!” I asked her if there was anything specifically that we could pray for her. She asked for healing. Without out delay my mom, Michelle, Sharon, and I take her to the Throne of God.
As we prayed in boldness and in truth, Sharol began to weep. The Love of the Father enveloping her and gripping her heart. We said amen and began to wrap our arms around our sister. We each looked intently into Sharol’s eyes and blessed her. She walked away joyful and very excited that she got to talk to us.
