Matthew 25:35-36 “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was in prison and you came to me.”

We got the opportunity to do prison ministry for a day. We got to the prison and had to wait to be cleared before we were able to go inside. While we waited we sat outside on some benches under a nice shade tree and had a time of prayer. After about 30 minutes we were able to come in. We had to turn in our cameras and phones at the guards post, so we didn’t get a chance to take photos.

It was crazy to see hundreds of prisoners gathering around and getting really excited. It was really loud and dirty. The prison made prisons in America look like a Holiday Inn. We walked into the “yard” of the compound and sat down at some benches they had prepared for us. The prisoners were literally five feet from us. If anyone of them wanted to harm us it would have taken them two seconds to do so.

I felt God’s protection more than ever as I walked to go sit down. For an instance I felt the spirit of fear trying to sink in as lies from the enemy tried to tell me I wasn’t safe. I cast out the spirit of fear in Jesus name immediately and began to speak God’s truth over myself. We all stood to sing praise and worship songs along with the prisoners. I began to feel the comforting arms of my loving Savior wrap around me.

I was asked to give the first message. Without knowing what I was going to say, other than my testimony, I got up and let the Holy Spirit lead. I gave my testimony and a presentation of the Gospel. I felt God’s Holy anointing on me, because I began to speak with passion and fire. I got so into God’s message I started yelling “Hallelujah!!!”

Michelle then came up after me and spoke about Paul’s conversion. The Holy Spirit really spoke through her in the message she presented. It was amazing to see her passion and zeal come out of her. After her message we had an alter call and over 65 people raised their hand and came forward to receive Christ!!! It was astonishing!! I tried to count the sea of people but it was impossible for me to keep count.

Then James came up and gave his testimony. He also had no clue what he was going to say, but the Holy Spirit filled his mouth with words. It was such a powerful message! He compared heaven and hell and gave some amazing analogies and then asked that if anyone didn’t receive Christ and wants to to come forward. One man came forward. It was amazing to see the courage of one man to come up alone and stand before everyone and say, “I need Jesus!”

Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me
to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;”

I got up after James and encouraged the new believers. I started shouting truth over them. I told them, “God loves you, because He love you, because He loves you, because He loves you,….because that’s just who He is!!!” After I sat down the pastors with us passed out just under 2 dozen Bibles and a lot of literature tracks. We prayed over them and then finished with a praise and worship song.

This month has been an amazing time of growth for me. I having preaching with boldness that I know God has given me. He is constantly speaking boldness and fearlessness over me. God wants me to be unafraid and to speak with courage. I love the feeling of getting in front of hundreds of people and know that my God is speaking through me and I have no fear. It is amazing what God does when you are obedient to His will. God I pray that You will reveal more and more of Yourself to me and keep me on fire for You no matter what it takes!!! I love You Lord Jesus!!! You are my King and Savior! I will forever worship You!! Jesus is Lord!!!!!
