Wow….
WOW…
WOW!!!
I leave in 2 days and 17 hours…
I’m fully funded.
I’m almost packed.
I have almost said all my “goodbye’s”.
I’m excited and nervous, scared and thrilled.
As I go down the list of everything that needs to be done before I leave I’m trying my best to remember to keep a calm mind. I know that no matter what, God will protect me while I am away serving him. I know that God will protect my family and loved ones while I’m away and that all the fear will do is get in the way.
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the fact that in just a few (very) short days, I will be heading off into the world with a new family to serve God. It’s been a dream that is finally becoming a reality. I have been so blessed to have this opportunity and the support given to me. Thank you to my parents, my aunt, my grandparents, and my church for all the prayers and support. Thank you to my team for becoming a second family, even thought we have yet to meet.
I pray for my team, that we may all have safe travels and that when we finally meet, we will be united as one to serve the God we all love. I pray for those at training camp, that they are prepared and ready for us. I pray for my family, that they will stay safe and healthy while I am away. I pray for success in this trip, that the work my team and I do is pleasing to God and helps build and strengthen the relationship between the team and those we meet and God.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
