Sarabrynn and I at the MP3 experiment on the National Mall

I’m 24 and have been living in Washington, DC for the past year and a half. I share the city with my beautiful cousin (more like sister) Sarabrynn. I moved here after growing up in Marietta, Georgia and graduating from Auburn University in 2013.

I spent the past three summers traveling to China, Europe and Central America. Somewhere along the way I became a person who values adventure over comfort, desires to thrive rather than just survive and tends to disobey the status quo more often than not

When I was 17 I first heard the words, women of God, and dreamt of a day when I would be a fearless proverbs 31 woman who is, “clothed in dignity and strength and laughs with out fear of the future.” Since moving to DC, I have enjoyed allowing God to start molding me into that Woman.

I’m passionate about story telling and am most compelled by video. In the spring of my senior year of college, I fell in the love with YouTube and discovered a very nerdy side of myself. Out of that came my channel, Julia Robertson.

When I discovered the World Race, I realized my passions for the Lord, travel and sharing stories had all abruptly collided.

Leading up to the race i’ll continue working full time as the Communication Specialist at a nonprofit serving the homeless in DC.

Other facts about me:

I’m captivated by natural beauty and feel spoiled every time I watch the sunset. I love the romance of trains and bridges and tend to dance when i’m in public. I crave worship music and have an unhealthy relationship with the show Dance Moms. I loose my mind when I look at a rainbow and I whole heartedly believe in the art of the bucket list!

I have never kept a blog and am looking forward to sharing my experiences and journey with the Lord over the next two years.
