Tuesday morning came early. We met in the lobby of the hotel at 4:45am to start sending teams to the airport. We all made it safely from Georgia to Guatemala without losing any people or luggage along the way, thankfully.
Three teams, including mine, are staying in a house provided for us. There are fourteen girls in one room with a lot of bunk beds and one bathroom, it’s very cozy and a lot of fun. Then six of the guys get to have a room of there own. We all share a kitchen and each team gets to cook for themselves.
Our contact is an amazing guy with a sense of humor trying to make a difference for The Lord here in Antigua Guatemala. We are very thankful for him and his wife for all that they have provided for us here, they are wonderful people. We are just starting to do ministry tomorrow morning so I will be updating you on that later. But we are very excited to be working with the people down here, they are so friendly.
I can’t describe how beautiful it is here. It is green everywhere you look and there are a million different plants. We also live next to a volcano, which some of you might have seen from my picture on facebook, but it is very big and so beautiful! we are planning on hiking it one of these weekends:).
I feel like I have so much more to say and it has only been three days haha but I will wait to talk about whatever else has been going on until another day. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
