Well, its finally starting to feel real…like I’m really going to New Zealand! I went shopping at the amazing (and addicting) REI this weekend. Oh my, what a store! I bought so much stuff I need, and a little that I didn’t 🙂 I got my first travel backpack! It’s pretty big and I think I’m going to need to practice walking around in it! It’s great because it has a detachable day pack, and the straps even fold into the bag so it doesn’t get caught in the cargo conveyor belts at airports! I also bought a travel down pillow, travel clock, a camel back water bottle, a headlamp, a travel wallet, a sleep sack, a shower caddy, a luggage tag (it’s leopard print!), carabiners, a fleece/polyester jacket (because it will be winter there!) and a super cute hat. So I probably spent a little more than I should have…but oh boy, am I ready! Now to raise the support… 🙂 Check out my goodies!
