Well, last week I’ve been on fundraising overload! But, it paid off!
Saturday, I had Garage Sale Extravaganza Vol. 2. My friend Karon Rhodes came over and we combined our garage sale-ing efforts and had one darn good sale. I made about $200 and she made about $130. Not too shabby. The homemade cookies were once again a success and I couldn’t give away a grill if I tried! But it was fun, and I was really happy with the amount.
Monday was my Old Chicago fundraiser. I had been passing out flyers for about a week and a half to get people to go eat at Old Chicago and I would get 10% of their tab. I stopped by there 3 different times during the day, and I always saw somebody I knew! So cool! I ended up making $85. There was a great turnout, so thank you to everyone that ate something on at the OC on Monday. I greatly appreciate it!
My current support status is $3,275, plus a $1,000 pledge. I need $18,000 for next year, so I still have quite a ways to go, but I am trusting God and know He will provide. To support me, click the “Support Me” link over there on your left!
