I got to go home this past weekend to

Tampa,
FL!
It was my first time back since I moved to

Georgia a month ago. My boyfriend
and I decided we wouldn’t go more than a month without seeing each other,
either me going there or him coming here. And since he came here in January to
move me in, it was my turn! I was going to drive, but I found a steal of a
plane ticket ($49 each way!) and flew instead! It was so great to be back! My wonderful
boyfriend Steve and I spent the whole weekend together, relaxing, eating,
watching TV, and eating. It was great! I also got to see a movie with my mom,
sister, aunt and cousins. Good times. My cousin from

Tennessee was also in town so we were able
to celebrate her 21st birthday. And then, my Revolution pastor,
Bobby, was having a birthday party too, so I was able to see all my church friends
in one shot! How great! I purposely didn’t tell a lot of people I was coming
home, because I like the element of surprise. Sunday, being Super Bowl Sunday,
was another great chance to hang out with both family and friends. I flew home
late Monday night to much colder temperatures. So sad. It was weird going back I
must say, because it doesn’t feel like I live there anymore, but it doesn’t
feel like I live here yet either. But if anything, it inspired to maintain my
relationships in

Tampa,
I love everyone there and miss them desperately. And also begin making a life
here in

Georgia.
Only God knows how long I may actually be here, but I really want to
be here, not just exist here, if that
makes sense. Here’s a list of a few things I did while in the

Sunshine
State…

  • Ate at
    the Cheesecake Factory
  • Got my
    haircut at Swank
  • Ate at
    Green Iguana
  • Saw 2
    movies
  • Ate at
    Bob Evans
  • Visited
my *two* favorite children, Titus and Ilana
  • Ate at
    Panera
  • Watched
DVD’s of Law and Order SVU, Sopranos, and Sex and the City
  • Ate at
    Zaxby’s
  • Watched the Colt’s win the Super Bowl

Hmm….a theme is emerging…it involves food! Good times, I
left happy AND well fed!
