Hello all my friends, family, supporters, and random readers who thought this might be a good read. The next season of my life is happening TOMORROW! Crazy, how this just flashed right by in a blink of an eye. I just got home from being on the race two months ago and here I am letting God take control of this next movement within me and the people around me at CGA. I will be falling back into a rhythm of classes and fellowship with God’s people figuring out what it looks like to be the church body at home, at work, the park…ANYWHERE. How crazy is it that we have the insane opportunity to be and work alongside of our creator. He literally lives inside of us working to draw our attention to him and his people. He’s desperately searching for ways to show us he loves us. He’s the greatest Dad.

Anyways I thought now would be a good transitioning period where I can fill you in on what this summer has looked like and what the next five months will be. Starting out, I arrived home on May 2nd thrilled to see my best friend Angel and my Mom, Dad, and two brothers. Best feeling ever! My family and I went on a little vacation after being home for a couple of days to a lake house where we all celebrated all of the holidays I missed while being on the race. That being said I think ive had my fill of candy for the next two years!

Such great time was spent catching up and seeing what has changed and what I can expect coming back into the States. I really took this time to invest in my middle brother Ethan. Ethan had a trip planned by my parents to send him to REAP Granada in Nicaragua where I had spent a little over a month working with that ministry. The plan was for him to stay for seven weeks getting to know what it’s like to live out of the country and see what else is out there in the world. Amazing opportunity right!? My only hard part about that was that I had one week to spend with my brother before he left for the whole summer. I told him all of the tips and tricks that I could pick up living there for about a month. I shared some coffee shops and the best places to get wifi to call mom and dad, because we both knew mom was going to be anxious about this next step for him. So I hooked him up with that and by the time he was ready to leave we said our goodbyes and he headed off on his own little adventure. He’s been working with REAP and loving it so much. (Thanks Jen and Scott for taking him in!)

to be continued…
