Woah, alright well we are going into our 3rd month at the end of the week guys, how we feelin’?
God is taking me through some hurricanes this season of my life. He’s revealing visions to me which is a first and it’s cool but also really confusing at this point..more to come in a later blog. But I just wanted to give you an update on my spiritual walk currently. I’ve started to pick up on a cool book. It has poems, radical stories about these crazy people, there are songs, and PEOPLE COME BACK FROM THE DEAD!
Lol yeah, you guessed it, the Bible:)
I’ve found a new love and passion to read the Bible from beginning to end through a podcast called BEMA, and wow have my eyes been reopened to the stories I’ve learned in Sunday school.
I’ve learned that God is constant and will always be and has always been the same. Our God will always put Himself in our place and go before us and guide our every step. He will never let us go somewhere where he hasn’t already been.
I’m working on the book of Genesis and learning about God’s covenants and what that means to the relationship between Him and His people. Y’all this podcast takes it to another level than just reading the stories of Noah, Abraham, and Joseph for face value.
The eastern culture where a lot of the Old Testament was written from a very different perspective than the westernized way of thinking. And let me tell you God’s character is shown so much more clearly by His actions and what he doesn’t say that by what he does declare!
I want to continue my study of spiritual sonship and what it means to be a Daughter of the King. I want to shift how I view myself and see myself as a light of the kingdom. I want to see where I’m rejecting the notion of being God’s child and instead choosing to live as a slave and an orphan.
I want to do this by reading the book Spiritual Slavery to Spiritual Sonship by Jack Frost!
