The Wenner Fam
Being on the literal other side of the world has given me a totally different perspective, granted that’s what I’ve asked for. I’ve seen things no other person will see, I’ve experienced things that people wouldn’t even think of trying. I have loved all of those moments and I am excited for what is to come, but at the end of the day, my family is always on my mind. My family is my home Shaun, Colleen, Ethan, and Jordan, wherever they are. God has given me a new appreciation for who he has given me and put in my life.
The Raw Fam
Family will never leave you, your family is blood and no one can change that. No matter how down and dirty you get the love of God covers that and your family takes you in again and again just like the grace of God. I don’t deserve the family I have but I’m sure as heck grateful for each one of them. Without my brothers and their unique personalities preparing me for this season of my life I don’t know what I would have done when my team presses those ever so sensitive buttons. My team has become my family in the sense that they are here for me and they listen, cry, pray, laugh, get pissed off, and love me in every way. I know I can always come back to them when I have fallen astray.
Best of Both Worlds
Yes, I miss my family at home but God has put this family in my life for this season and I’m so thankful for them because they have discipled me and shown me what true sistership in Christ looks like. I’ve never had a sister before so going from none to living with eight girls has been one of those different perspectives God has shown me. But changing my lifestyle to living with a different group of people, God has given me mounds of grace and to be able to give out of an overflow because I know that he first bestowed it on me.
I’m thankful for both families in this case. I’m becoming a better person because of them!
Traveling Update
I KNOW MY MISSION PLANS FOR ETHIOPIA
We are going to be staying with HOPE Ethiopia in Harbu Chulule! Ministry will most likely include; women’s ministry, sports ministry, teaching English, kids ministry, brick sifting, and gardening. Wow, I’m so excited!! Please be in prayer as my team and the whole squad will be transitioning into this new season of our trip. Pray for safety, peace, assurance, and comfort. All of us will be going through a dramatic stage of change and I know God’s got us.
Lastly
I’m so close to being fully funded guys I need your help, every dollar counts! If all of you are able to send in a couple dollars it would mean the world and help me spread the gospel. I have $1,195 left and we’ve raised $14,605! WOW! We got this
