The race has been the craziest thing I’ve every experienced. It sent me through a rollercoaster of emotions that I didn’t even know I had. Digging deep into the roots of issues and to the core of who I am. We had constant support and guidance from our amazing squad leaders who where on the race with us all 9 months. I was able to freely jump in with full commitment knowing if messed up (which I did) I would get the best correction with God at the forefront of every reasoning.
God used the race to change my perspective on people. And not just people in the states but wherever God happens to place me and the people that I cross paths with. Knowing that every person is a son and daughter, a prince and princess, and they should be treated as one. I’ve learned that giving more time and space for people around me is healthy and just to lend a listening ear. The race taught me to seek to understand and not understood, and what that actually looks like. Realizing that you can make someone’s day when you just take the time to listen to how their day was. People are made to communicate and have conversations, like actually face to face. I know wild right. People actually want to get to know the real you and what your passions are and what your favorite food is. Good community has been something that has become so important to be. Having a group and body of believers is so incredible, meeting with a group of people who can encourage you and build you up as well as getting the opportunity to pour into them from what you’ve learned.
It’s crazy sharing stories from how God has revealed himself to you and seeing how your stories can actually CHANGE someone’s life. You have the authority to be God’s messenger and to share your testimony with others. Guys if there’s one thing that I could give to you and advice for right now I’m your life is to share. God has done so many things in my life and I can’t wait to get home to tell as many people as possible. Telling your testimony is something god has gifted you with. He’s writing your story for you to tell!!! Y’all this is crucial if we want to continue to advance the kingdom! TELL YOUR STORY! God can use you and he will.
Don’t limit him to the Bible stories because he’s writing new crazy stories in your own lives that he wants you to claim and give him all the credit. This brings him so much joy to see you declaring how good he is and seeing the changes and hard times he’s brought you through. I could go on and this blog is already off topic. Lol. I’ve become so passionate about this topic. But I’ll stop now haha, if you want to hear more about my heart for sharing message me!!
