I Am
I am a complete and total mess.
I am scars, brokenness, and issues.
I am past wounds that just won’t go away.
I am hopeless.
I am angry, fearful, and jealous.
I am everything 1 Corinthians 13 says not to be when it comes to loving.
I am new.
I am tattoos covering scars the way Jesus covers me.
I am so inadequate but made worthy through Christ.
I am a former alcoholic.
I am the girl that searched for love in all the wrong places.
I am those things no longer because God took them away.
I am a daughter.
I am God’s beloved little girl.
I am the sinner that God uses to further His Kingdom.
I am a missionary.
I am a freedom fighter in the name of Jesus Christ.
I am spreading the joy that the Holy Spirit has placed inside my heart.
I was hideous with sin.
I am beautiful in Christ.
I was living for myself.
I am dying to myself to live for Him.
I am and always will be imperfect but God will remain to do perfect things through me.
