Hey guys!! 
I have finally been on the road with my team. We are Team Zeal! From left to right; Jesse, Akelea, EQ, Alex, and me 🙂 We are the only co-ed team out of the 4! These guys are super awesome. So Jesse is actually the Squad Logistics Leader. He pretty much makes sure all the teams have lodging and transportation and other things for travel days across counties and for debriefs and leadership weekends. Good to have him specifically on my team 😉 He shares that role with Vanessa from team Selah. Jesse is a listener and obsever, quiet but always thinking. A really sharp and equipped guy. Really good at soccer! He compliments my super extrovertedness! Very charming and sarcastic.. funny!! Akelea is a powerhouse! She’s on fire for the gospel and a little sassy too. She has a lot of experience in life with finishing school and working. She hears the Lord in very specific and cool ways. She’s super sunny and has a contagious laugh. We usually laugh and pick on each other. Oh.. she also has great dance moves!! Haha. Then there‘s EQ, short for Emily Quint. She’s one of the Team Leaders out of the 4. She will be with my team for a month or 2 and then travel to some other groups and we get some of other leaders. EQ is one of a kind. She rewlly carries the hope of Jesus within her that she’s always cheerful and looks to the best in situations. She carries joy and peace so much within her thag it overflows into you. She’s very caring with people! She carries a lot of wisdom And experience. It’s an honor to start these first couple months with her as our leader. Then to my right is Alex!! Well.. Alex is amazing! She’s fierce and super bold. She carries a heart of worship. She hears and sees things from The Lord in such a cool way. She’s very wise and smart. She’s actually the Team Treasurer. She pretty much makes sure we don’t go broke because of Jesse and I hahah. She’s an amazing writer and God is definitely going to use that for His glory and people’s good. She’s sweet and drinks LOTS of coffee haha.
So yeah.. that’s a very brief description of Team Zeal. I’m super honored and excited to share a lot of things with these 4 people for the next couple months until we make a change. I know we will grow on deeper levels and i can’t wait to see how we function more as a team!
At the moment we are in Cali, Colombia and are few for maybe 2 more nights as we make our way down to Pasto To meet with the rest of the Squad.
