On Friday, we were able to be apart of the free medical campaign that was provided through the school. About a dozen medical school students from Australia and the United States came and provided free examinations and treatment for the people in the community of Victor Raul. After people received medical care, we were able to pray for them and their families. Hardly any of them were Christians but they all welcomed prayer and several were saved as well!

Volleyball team picture! I assumed locals here loved soccer but I had no idea they were so into volleyball!! Every single evening when it cools down, volleyball nets get set up and locals come out and compete(quite seriously sometimes). Our host Joel was invited to play with these ladies a week ago and we’ve played with them three or four times since. It’s been super fun playing with them, especially because they’re a lot more relaxed than some of the other players. Our communication consists of a few words and a lot of laughs!

Samaritan Purse presents!! This past week we had a VBS for the local kids. We showed kids Jesus through dances, skits, lessons, and crafts. Today was the big day! All the children were so excited to open their gifts, no matter what they got. This kid was ecstatic at everything he opened, even something as simple as a comb. Nothing better than the pure joy of a child. To top it off, dozens of kids received Jesus in their hearts!!  Great day!
