We race to a road you already paved
Carrying a flag of victory He already waved
Letting those that don't know they are already saved
The work has been done, we go to spread the word
Too many out there that have not heard
The eyes of so many have been blurred
We go because to us the baton has been passed
We a beautful group the Lord has amassed
To the guidance He has giving us we hold fast
We do not know what we will come up against along the way
The words that will be spoken into we can not say
We'll take each day as it's own day by day
We will have obstacles we know not how to defeat
But HE conquers all we will not be beat
No glory of our own we bow and HIS feat
Then one day the journey will end
The brokenness inside us HE will mend
We'll pass the baton and other's we will send
