I have been on this journey since November when it was only an application. The process has been amazing and trying. It has grown my faith in how God can provide. Now I lay down on my bed writing on my laptop only two night's rest away from Training Camp! Thank you all who have supported me along the way through prayer and support. God has already prepared my heart. I have said many goodbyes and many see ya soons. I am so blessed to be a part of an amazing squad that I am already learning so much from. They have already been to change my life. I don't know what all is in store over the next 10 days but I am ready for God to continue to do his work in me. How can it be something I longed for prayed for and had so much anticipation for(still do) be ONLY A DAY A WAY?
To my family( you all know who you are) don't worry my excitement does not take away any of the love I have for you. Know that my chest is heavy thinking about leaving you. But I must follow the path that God has set before me. Like the song How he loves us says "He is jealous for me. Love like a hurricane, I am a tree." I am incapable of just standing still. When he calls we must all answer. And when you let him have the reins your direction can't help but cause you to be excited. For it becomes what your heart longs for. Many of you I have already said goodbye too. There are others we have not had that conversation quite yet. When we do I just ask you don't hold my tears against me. Love I have you the letters on this keyboard can not write. Thank you for what you are to me!!
Thankfully because of you I have raised enough support to make it too Training camp. That is how I am writing about that next step. I have my next deadline coming up June 17, which is being at 6500. I stand at 5300 today. The next two deadlines I have are at two months into the trip at 11,000 and the full amount raised at 15,500 by 4 months in. Please keep these deadlines in your prayers.
