If you read my last blog you read how at training camp I finally realized my worth in Jesus. Things did not stop there. I learned that when you open up and allow God to heal you He makes you brand new! He feel that throught that healing He opens up your gifts. I many people pray over during the week and speak into my life. Many of the people told they saw God calling me to be a healer. That God was calling me to help others through Jesus Christ break strong-holds on there life, to bring healing where there was none. And maybe before those kind of words I might not have been open to receive. When you receive your own healing you find yourself open to new things you would not have been to before. Any plan that God has set for me how could I not be open.
I start with that to tell you about something that my following words probably will not be able to describe. One night we were having a session and we were talking about spiritual gifts. The speaker spoke into our lives to be more than just Christians or missonaries. God was calling us to be worshipers. And we do that through not just standing back and watching but by doing. The speaker said " Some of you will feel lead to lay hands on someone". When he spoke those words I felt lead with many from my team to lay hands on my friend Jacob. Ever since he was in 1st grade he has had only 50% hearing in his ears. My squad and myself began to pray for Jacob for about 45 minutes. Many us prayed and many of cried. I can truly say I have no credit because every word I spoke was God's alone. At one point as I was sitting in front of him I notice Jacob his hands. He reached out to our friend Micah and opens Micah's hands and places his hearing aids into Micah's hands. I can not think of many times where I have cried those kind of tears of joy. If wasn't there I don't know if I would have believed. To God go all the glory. Praise him for giving Jacob a testamony that he can give to all the nations.
