I we have reached a new month. I am now in San Bernando, Nicaragua. We originally thought we were going to be on an Island called Ometepe that lies in the middle of Lake Nicaragua. However, the contact there needed two teams and not just one. This month our Leadership felt our team needed to have a month of ministry alone. One girl on my team Kiera spoke over our team that it would be a month of chains following off and things we had been holding for so long finally coming to the light and falling off. And with that us being able to minster so much more affectively. I truly feel for all those things to happen it is going to take a level of intimacy in our team you only find by having time alone. Her words in just a few days are already coming true.
This month we are working with a ministry called Men of Valor for Christ. It is a group of pastors of varying denominations that decided to come together for their community. They plan events together and ways they feel they can further the Kingdom in their community. If only we so more of that in the States. And let me tell you there may be different denominations but the Spirit is flowing through it. Showing the father is only worried about the heart, and his people loving his people.
We are as a team getting the opportunity to preach and hold seminars about what the father has showed us to youth as well as to other adults. Just yesterday we visited a church and Kiera shared a testimony and Marcie followed her with the message. Then something funny happened. The pastor asked if I would come up and share something. So I got up and shared. One thing my team has learned going back to Honduras but especially Guatemala is always bring your Rain Coat. You may wonder what that means. Let me tell you. In Guatemala most of our ministry was led by what that Father wanted us to do that day. So you never knew what you were going to end up doing. You may be praying for someone on the street one day and singing at a radio the next. Also it rained almost every day in San Pedro and you never knew when. So you always had to bring your Raincoat and be ready for the Rain. So we took that analogy to mean in life you never know what kind of opportunities the Father will put in front of you so you must always be ready. Always be ready to speak of the Life that Father has giving you. Always bring your Raincoat.
Keep us in your prayers as the Father works in us in new ways. Pray that we are obedient as He calls us out of our comfort zones each and every day. And as chains are falling off and we surely feel pain pray that the Father holds us and sees us through them. Each month I feel like a new man. After this month I already know there will not be one member of Team Mashach that is left the same. Praise the Father for that because none of us want to be.
Also keep my support account in your prayers. We are month away from my next deadline of $11,000 at the beginning of Oct. The last time I had internet asses I was at little over $7,400. It is going to take a Sun Stand Still/God sized dread to get there. Praise God I serve a God that loves to do just that.
