I just wanted to post a quick update on how I am doing. Thank you all so much for your continued prayers!

I am thrilled to tell you that I am doing much better!!! All symptoms of the malaria have left except for tiredness and that’s quickly improving. God has been showering his blessing on me this past week.
Due to all of the illness my immune system had been depleted completely and the doctor said it was worse than someone with AIDS. This meant I had to leave the orphanage for a few days to allow the medicine to rebuild my immunity.
Being the holidays it was proving impossible for me to find a place to go, but God had a gift waiting! Pastor Gordon and his wife Stella, a couple that has been a God send to all of us here in Joburg, graciously opened up their guest bedroom for me to recover. They showered me with love and care and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to gain strength.
They taught me so much in a few short days and are living breathing examples of God’s love in action. Taking in a man they hardly know and giving generously!!!!
I am now doing MUCH better and have moved back to the orphanage to stay with the team and children for my last few days here in Johannesburg. I leave for Cape Town, South Africa on the 6th to spend time with the teams we have going there for ministry this month.
I am quite behind on blogs and emails but look forward to sharing with you all the journey that God has had me on and the lessons He has been teaching me through this illness and the children.
Again, thank you all for your prayers and support. They mean more than you could possibly imagine. I pray God’s richest blessings on you in this New Year! Let it be a year of God’s love touching earth in new and exciting ways through your hands and feet!
Kingdom Come,
Joshua
