FOUR BLOOD MOONS, that’s what they are calling it!
Tonight from 12-2:30am I got to witness something absolutely amazing! To others it might seem like just another Lunar Eclipse that we learn about in science class. But to me, as a Christian it means something incredible!
What I witnessed tonight was the first of four blood moons to come withing the next two years, being separated by six months each. Now in the past when this has occured special events have followed. 1490’s, the religious tyranny opposed on the Jews being kicked out of Spain and moving to Israel. 1940’s the Holocaust. 1960’s Israel and Jurusalem being united again. And now again from 2014-2015.
This time though being very special. This blood moon on April 15th, 2014 is happening on Passover one of the most important holidays in Judaism. The next one in September on Sukkot one of the other most important holidays in Judaism. The third on Passover again in 2015 and the last on Sukkot again in September of 2015. Amazing huh? In March of 2015 there is also going to be a Solar Eclipse making the sun “dark” also happening on a very important Jewish holiday. Coincidence? I think not. This is all prophesied by Joel and told again by the apostle Peter.
Now I didn’t just start writing this as a history class for all of you, but to tell you of the amazing love I just encountered with Jesus. Even though these are often signs of bad things, a lunar and solar eclipse, I was really rather relaxed in the presence of my Savior. While I was praying on my knees, almost in tears, He was telling me,“Look at my Proof! Look at my Existence! Look at my Love! I AM HERE! This is a sign to you Josh! You are special, you are Mine!! I LOVE YOU! More than you can ever know! Tell everyone about ME!” Thus pushing me even further in my adventure of becoming a missionary. Two reasons why I’m here on earth: 1. To Love and Grow in my relationship with God and 2. Tell everyone about Him!!
All of this has been prophesied in Joel and in Acts! Acts 2:17-21 “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams;
18 even on my male servants and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
19 And I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;
20 the sun shall be turned to darkness (the solar eclipse mentioned earlier) and the moon to blood, (the lunar elipses)
before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.
21 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
God has always given us signs through the heavens and on earth! Let’s not ignore them!
Like Misty Edwards says, “People Get Ready, Jesus is Coming! He’s not a baby in a manger anymore, He’s not a broken man on a cross! He didn’t stay, in the grave!! And He’s not staying in Heaven Forever! Cause He’s Alive!”
PEOPLE LET’S GET READY! FOR HE IS COMING! LET’S NOT MISS ONE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE OF HIS GREAT LOVE, FOR WE HAVE ALREADY INHERITED THE KINGDOM, BUT THERE ARE OTHERS OUT THERE STILL DYING AND THEIR SOULS ARE CRYING OUT FOR THE LORD NEEDING HIM SO DESPERATELY!
