In my last blog, I shared about the friendship my team developed with a visiting pastor and his wife from the Philippines. Meeting them has been a highlight of my month and also for others on my team. A few days ago, we enjoyed one last dinner together.
After we enjoyed the meal, we gathered in the living room to say our goodbyes. The couple showed their appreciation to Eagles Rest Foundation then expressed their appreciation for Team Fearless Love. The pastor’s wife, Grace, softly and sweetly shared what each of us meant to her. She reflected on the outings we had together, the kindness we displayed, and how we encouraged her Faith. As she finished, she said something that resonates with me still a few days later:
“Your presence is enough.”
Through this short, simple sentence, God reminded me that a majority of the ministry I am doing here is just simply being myself. Since Christ is in me and each person on my team, we were able to show this couple Jesus in a special way.
Each of you can do this as well for the people God places in your life. Be you, because it is exactly what someone else needs.
