The eighth month of my World Race has come to an end in Romania and tomorrow G Squad will head to Moldova for Month 9! This month we partnered with Hope Church and served with many of their ministries. It was incredible to see how Pastor Raul and the others at the church stepped out in faith each day to serve their community, region, and country.
Team Intrepidus served the church in a variety of ways this month. I spent my time doing a variety of things. Some days, we would take the short 20 minute car ride to Coteana, a neighboring village, to do home visits with church members. Other days I’d help out around the church by chopping firewood or cleaning. We also helped remodel a house.
A highlight from this month was having the opportunity to attend the first church service ever held in the village of Coteana. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to see a church in it’s beginning stages and to sense the excitement in the hearts of it’s members. Another highlight this month was having the opportunity to worship as a squad each morning followed by a time of intercession for the church.
Church in Coteana
As I look at the last three months of the Race, I recognize that there are so many ways that God is going to challenge me and use me. Although it’s difficult at times, I have learned I need to stay present and remain focused on everything He has for me during this season so I can finish this season well and begin the next one in the best way possible.
Prayers are appreciated as we travel in the morning and begin our ministry in Moldova! We currently have little information about what our time in Moldova will look like. Internet access will likely be scarce, but hopefully I can give you all an update sometime throughout the month!
