3 Months ago I put down a 200$ deposit which secured my spot to South Africa and was the first donation to my funds. After that I had NO IDEA how I was going to raise the remaining 6700$ dollars. Although I trusted God was going to provide for me but that doesn’t mean it will be easy. I had to step out of my comfort zone and reach out to people for money, which was extremely difficult. I even considering working my butt off for 3 months to raise the money on my own but that’s not what God had planned. Now looking back at everything I am beyond grateful for the path God put me on.

Many people have asked me how I am feeling as I approach my departure and its mostly been a lot of excitement and fear. Although as I get closer to leaving I am both excited and scared but mostly ready! And It truly doesn’t feel like I will be leaving for 3 months but soon reality will hit me as I am flying to Georgia to meet my new family in Christ.

I am just so thankful for the past 7 months and for the first time in my life I feel like I am on the path God wants me on! I am also thankful to all the relationships I have built and for everyone who has supported me on this adventure!

Now with only 3 nights left I am ready to go on this journey and am excited to have so many amazing people alongside me!

I love you and again thank you for being apart of this mission!

Josh
