Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my blog! I’m super excited to share with you the reasons God has put this exciting opportunity on my heart. The summer leading into my senior year I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do after high school.  I began asking God where He wanted me to go next. I have always had a heart for missions and that desire has grown ever since my trip to Kosovo two summers ago. For a while, my plan was to do the typical next step most seniors pursue after high school — starting my freshman year of college. However, the more I looked into colleges, the more my heartfelt uncertain about the idea. It was then, I remembered what one of my good friends Amanda shared with me about her life-changing experience on the World Race. As I looked more into the program, I began to feel a peace about going. For the first two months of my senior year, I was back and forth on the possibility. In spite of my hesitations, one day I decided to sit down and submit my application. Eventually, I did my phone interview and was offered a position on the team right there on the spot! I couldn’t believe it! And yet I felt humbled and overwhelmed all at the same time. God was on the move and already confirming this was His direction for the next step in my life. While there may not have been a big sign in the sky or an audible voice from God telling me to go on this trip, I can say that by listening to the Holy Spirit and following the godly desires He has put in my heart, I find myself ready to experience the plans He has for me on the World Race. I will be ministering in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Thailand, and Estwantini.  There will be a variety of opportunities to serve–from manual labor to kid’s ministry in destitute areas. Because I will be living in each country for two to three months at a time, it will give me the opportunity to really sow into the work God is doing there. I truly believe God is going to use me and my team to glorify His kingdom by spreading the good news in every place He takes us. It would be amazing if you would consider and pray about supporting me in my fundraising. Thank you for reading!
