Well, many of you are asking yourself, what does Thailand look like? or What are you guys doing in Thailand? or some other question that might be totally off the subject. Here is the update on my journey thus far.

traveling by boat is one of the most popular means of transportation in Bangkok.

Visiting the temples around Bangkok made for an exciting experience.

as long as I see inspiring things like this, i will continue to grow the beard!

Im testing my claustrophobia out down in the caves of Chiang Mai

Exploring the caves

We came to the mountains of Chiang Mai to help out with a drop ceiling at a church there. This was our home for a week. Not a bad view huh!?

Getting a little praise and worship in each morning to get us going.

Here is the church. It sits on the hill right behind the littel house.

and there you have it folks, besides a couple tiles that need custom fitting, its a brand new church!

PS… we used our race money to buy the ceiling for this church. That means, you are looking at one of your blessings to Thailand. God bless you all!

Just me trying to get a stubborn peice to fit. Was it measure twice and cut once or measure once and cut 10 times?

Here we are after a long day or work. Look at this nice dinner spread. Thai culture is: no tables, chairs, or shoes in the house. I know my mom would love the shoe part of that.

The pastor and I just trying to stay out of trouble. He has a 6 pack by the way. (im talking about his ABs)

The pastor and his family, friends, and us. We say goodbye to an amazing week with the Karen people out here in the Hill Tribe of Chiang Mai.

We will be in another village this week and hope that the Lord moves in the same ways that he did here with the Karen people.

Lord I thank you each and every day for your loving kindness. How your mercy never fails. I love you and I thank you!
