It’s been awhile since I’ve written a blog. And I have another blog to write after this one so I’ll keep it short. On Monday of this week my team and I got some unsettling news. We all received an email to tell us that, if we don’t get more people on our route, we’ll have to choose a different route. My heart sunk a little when I read this and I went straight to our group chat we have. I could tell immediately that I wasn’t the only one concerned. But then I saw this for what it was, an opportunity. This was an opportunity to let fear and doubt settle in or to trust that this is still where God is sending me and to pray. So now I want to offer the opportunity to you reading this. Will you pray for my team? Pray for the people we need? Pray for fear and doubt to leave all of us alone and for us to trust God no matter what? I have decided that until God closes the door, that this is the route He wants me on! Every week on Wednesdays my team and I fast together and pray for each other. And today will be no different except that we will be praying for people we don’t know yet to join us on our trip. So please, come along side of us and pray with us! Even if it’s next week or later by the time you read this! We have until late June I think before they will make a decision about disbanding us.
