God you are so good! We just got back from training camp almost a weak ago now,
and we now have 67 new family members! God is so at work, and we are so excited
to go where-ever He has called us! Chains were broken, freedom came, and the Holy Spirit was alive and
active!
One of the many things I learned at training camp was the POWER of your spoken words.
Did you know that a curse is a negative blessing? Did you know that you don’t even have to speak the curse to someone to speak it over them? Are we a people that speak blessings or curses?
The story was given of this little girl who was molested by her step brother. She went to her mom about it, and her mom sided with the step brother. She started calling her daughter her little whore. What do you think became of the daughter? Just that.. Have you had curses spoken over you? Have you been one to speak curses over others? Even over the ones you love? It’s amazing how the words of others can have an effect on us. Your words can make or break someone!
One night are whole October team “s-squad” got together and
we were worshiping God and just sharing about what God was teaching us and then
something so beautiful happened… The guys had all the girls get in a circle and
the guys stood on the outside of that circle. They started speaking Blessings and Truth over
us women and telling us that we are valued and beautiful; that we are
princesses of the Most High; that they loved us as sisters in Christ and that
they were there by our side. I don’t think there was a dry eye in that circle. Chains, lies, and curses that have been spoken over us women fell off that
night! It was so beautiful. Then
the women stood on the outside and had the men get on the inside and we started
speaking Blessings and Truth over them. That God
loves them and that we look to them as leaders; that they are men of God, valiant
warriors for His kingdom; that we respect them; and that they can shape their future
children because all kids long for their fathers love and approval. We told them how proud of them we were
for them stepping up! A garment of freedom and confidence was placed on their shoulders that night! Oh how God
must have been so pleased with His children, speaking life over each
other instead of death. Building up instead of tearing down! My
friends, this is how it must be~ we as “little Christ’s” must speak Truth and
life and encouragement to others, not curses. Every person there was edified
and encouraged that night and we were all unified with the bond of Christ!
