Eyes With Ties
While starring into the eyes of a 6 month old baby I could see the effects of this world. I could see a soul longing for something, anything, but most of all love. A love so genuine and pure no selfishness could rob its beauty. “Pause” I’m currently writing this in a small coffee shop in Nepal. A young “street” boy just walked up to me. He held out a tattered peace of paper asking for money. From the bear feet, to the torn shorts, to the holy shirt my eyes made there way up until they met the eyes of this boy. The tattered peace of paper may have been asking for money, but after one glance into his eyes I could see money meant nothing to his longing soul. This 6 month old babies name was kalani and her eyes spurred on a passion within me to bring love to the longing eyes of the lost. In the last two months I’ve seen the Hindu priests wife except the one true genuine love that only Jesus can offer. Ive seen Boppies eyes come face to face with Jesus, not knowing his name, but then realizing His name is Jesus and he’s always been there for him. Mass healing and revivals has fallen over church services, conferences and other gatherings. A women stood in laughter because cancer had once had her pinned to a bed for 5 years, but not any more in the name of Jesus. *Ive seen Jesus wash the most sinful unholy place on a hindu man and say, “ I have washed your feet, be set free from your sins and follow me.” God has lead me to the doorsteps of men so tired of consuming false happiness from a bottle. They were done distracting there minds from truly processing life. They were done attempts to fill a void that could never be filled. Its a new day to walk in the joy of the lord. “Pause” Mery from Scotland just walked into the coffee shop. She sat down one table over and as I looked up to say hi I could feel the presents of the LORD. Mery is a women who’s desires and passions are Gods desires and passions. After a few questions Mery begins to tell me here testimony. Long story short she is absolutely overflowing with the Holy Spirit and God had brought her out of the mission field in Thailand to Nepal where she has been living for 6 years. I could have talked to Mery for hours, but its time to head to the air port. Bye Mery, God bless. I’ve only just begun to scratch the surface of the miracles and wonders God has been doing here in India. Every day I walk past faces, some I wave to, some I stick my tough out at, and some I simply smile to, but all these faces have stories. There eyes seem to reflect there soul. The soul isn’t a place that can be identified on an anatomy chart, but its within us all.
* Original this man came to a house we were at and needed his ankle to be healed so he could work. He had tried everything and nothing worked. He heard we were next-door and he wanted to see if the Christian God could heal him. God healed him then washed his feet. The next time I met with him he gave his life to christ. He is in a very difficult place because his family is all Hindu and they will denny him if he goes to church. Please be praying for him. His name is Babondus.
