We Are Water Walkers!

Source: spiritualinspiration

This world tells us to stay in the boat and keep our voices down. Our God tells us to get out of the boat and walk on water.

Every time we face anger, anxiety, fear, or worry, we have the opportunity to walk on water. What that means is when we face adversity, we see it as it truly is and not let it get to us. When we look past the troubles that try to drown us we walk across the waves of this life. Sometimes it is a person that we are allowing to bring us down. The only way we can stay above the surface is to forgive them. After we do that, we find ourselves free of so much weight.

Unfortunately we often find ourselves clinging to the boat, screaming for the storm to stop. We allow problems and people to mess with our minds and attitudes. I pray that we will have the faith to step out of the boat and walk on water by seeing troubles for what they really are.

2 Cor. 4:18, “ So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

When you find yourself sinking, drowning in life, all you have to do is look up and you will find your Savior there reaching out to rescue you.
