Is this in normal time or Guatemalan time? We arrived in Antigua, Guatemala on 03/02/2013 at 9:30pm. We stayed there two nights, in one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. On Monday the 4th we left around 10:00am to heard to our ministry site near Coban, Guatemala. We had heard the trip would take around 4 hours. 7 hours later we arrived in a tiny village, and unpacked all our gear. We were met by the pastor that we are staying with and his kids. They tell us that we have to hike up a side of a mountain, that will take about 15 mins. We all strap on our 50 lb backpacks and day packs, and start walking down a rocky trail. Soon we are climbing up a steep hill, moving at a crawl. We make it to the top of the first hill and turn left, descending down the hill. Once we reach the bottom we continue going up the other side of the hill, making a right turn and heading up an even steeper hill. At the top we start to descend the other side of this hill, going slightly to the right. Once we make it half way down this side of the hill we come upon a house. We had finally made it to the pastors house 30-40 mins later. When I took the time to look around I realized how amazing the view ways and how remote a place we are in.
