Well as you probably have guessed my name is Josh Garrison and this is my “About me” page. I have concluded my favorite format for these types of things is short bio followed by random facts. So I think that’s what I am going to do and if I can figure out how to post pictures I might do that too. I wish I knew but right now I don’t have a clue and I would ask someone but I don’t know who. This is all so new. I looked it up online but I don’t know if its true, there are just so many different options to go through. So I was hoping that you would help to rescue and provide a breakthrough with a simple how-to. But without further ado here is my blogging debut and I hope that you can forgive any simple miscue.
Short Bio:
Well where to begin. My name is Josh and I am 22 and am currently a senior at Texas A&M U. (haha just kidding I am done with the random spontaneous rhyming). I am a Business major with minors in Economics and Psychology and with any luck will be graduating in May! Besides college I have lived my whole life in Dallas Texas with my awesome parents and sister. I have attended Scofield Memorial Church since I was born and am so blessed to have had so many good leaders, mentors, and friends there.
It was with a group of those friends that I attended a giant missions conference called Urbana and first discovered and felt called to the World Race. Now a year later I am so excited this is all finally happening. I cannot wait to live in honest and genuine community that is purposeful every day to enter into the love movement that Jesus has called us to. God is the God of the oppressed and I cannot wait to be his hands as he moves us with the Spirit to share life with some of the most needy and broken people in the world. I am so thankful and humbled by this incredible opportunity.

- I am a diehard Dallas sports fan
- My favorite question to ask people is “Tell me something true” (not really a question but just go with it)
- Right now I am reading The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky
- I am almost always down for dance party
- I love comforting broken people
- When I went study abroad the things I missed most were burritos and milk
- I rename my dog whenever I feel like it. Right now I call him Senor Chang
- My sister is one of the funniest people I know
- Before I die I want to base jump the Cave of Swallows and swim in Devils Pool
- I cannot wait for my Texas A&M Aggies to move to the SEC
- Arrogance annoys me
- I am often arrogant
- I am so bad at taking pictures with people in them
- The closest I get to speaking a foreign language is ordering at Taco Bell.
- As of right now I don’t have a facebook. Please accept me anyways
- When I am asked to pray spontaneously in groups I struggle with being genuine
- I have a very wide spectrum of music. From Sigur Ros to Deadmau5 to Kid Cudi to Regina Spektor
- I am from Texas so of course I own a gun and hunt and have a ranch and ride horses to school and have a cowboy hat and boots and speak with a heavy southern drawl and LOVE country music and NASCAR.

- I am constantly convicted by Malachi 1:6-14 and challenged by Malachi 3:10
- I love traveling to new places
- I am really bad at keeping in contact with people who aren’t directly around me

- I refuse to call my sisters cats by name. They will always be grey kitty, panda kitty, and gato tigre. Oh and panther kitty and lil sneezy (Cant forget the dead homies)
