Hello everyone, I am alive and well and I am currently in Quito,Ecuador . I am blessed to be able to serve the community and get to know some amazing people. My team is working with a house church and we are teaching English , painting , cleaning and doing other acts of community service. I have an amazing ministry host and I am so blessed to be able to work alongside them.i have learned so much and have had some laughs .
We have already have had some “world race days/moments “. Weather it was strapping two 10 foot ladders to make one 20 foot ladder or drinking hot tea while being packed into a truck while going over a bumpy road, we have had our laughs along with some awesome ways God is working in our lives. just simply realizing you have so much more of an impact than just your ministry is a very important lesson God has been teaching me.
God is showing me that every act is an act of praise and to truly take up my cross and follow him. The act of taking up my cross and following God with all I have is not an easy path to take , but I know it will be well worth it . We serve a God that calls us so something not of this world and something that will take a sacrifice of who you are in order to find yourself is Christ . Without Christ I am nothing and I desire for a deep and intimate relationship , but in order to do that I must go through the pain of letting go of my self and finding God. The good thing is that we have a God who is redeeming is and will never let us go .God is doing so much in my life and changing me in ways that I don’t even realize now . He is calls me to a life living in humility, but to be strong and courageous.because of that calling, I have a choice to follow Christ with all I have or to not .
Today is another day in which we can choose to follow Christ or to not , there is no middle grown. I choose to follow Christ and I hope you do to .
