Dear Friends & Family, 
We hope this letter finds you well! Life's pace has really begun to quicken. Since we got married in June of 2007 we have enjoyed living in Los Angeles where Josh is a private investigator and Bekah is a professional dancer and instructor. We both love what we do, but recently God has called us to do something radical with our lives.
In response to that calling we will be leaving everything we know and love this September to serve together as missionaries through Adventures in Missions on The World Race program, an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 countries. We will learn to live modestly on very little, and in most countries we will sleep in tents. Our team will partner with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the hope of Christ’s love to many tribes and nations. We will be living out of a backpack. (~sigh~ yes, that means our cat Doodle, Bekah’s high heels, and Josh's mountain bike, won't be coming along) We will learn to abandon all that has made our life comfortable and learn to depend on Him as we've never had to. Our greatest desire is to allow God to use us outside of our comfort zone serving, praying and sharing Christ's love and salvation to the world.
Like a typical missionary, we will raise support. The amount of $30,000 is great, but our God is greater. Just as surely as God calls some to go, He calls others to stay. We certainly can't do this on our own and hope that you may consider being our senders. ANY gift is a major blessing and we only ask that you seek what the Lord would have you to do. If your faithful prayers during this time are what you can commit to, Thank You! We’ll need them! If you feel that God is calling you to give financially to this ministry, GREAT! If 100 people pledge $25 a month for 12 months or $300 one time, we would have 100% of the funds necessary for our trip. Enclosed is a form that tells you about the ways you can help.
