We spent the month of January in Cambodia. We were partnered with another married couple and our ministry was to search out new contacts for Adventures in Missions. Our goal was to search and find believers who were doing God’s work and needed a helping hand.

We spent much of our time in the city of Phnom Phen and allowed God to lead us each day to people or organizations that could use help. We took “Tuk Tuk’s” (small taxi cart) to a specific destination to speak with a possible contact or research an organization. God opened up many doors this month and it was great to watch how he worked.

We also had the opportunity to visit a remote village where we did door to door evangelism and a children’s program. Many of the homes in the rural areas are very basic, many on stilts with bamboo floors. The people were extremely poor and we were able to team up with YWAM and provide basic medical needs to a village. We also completed a service project at an organization that provides jobs for women who were once stuck in “Sex Trafficking”.

It was a great month and it was very hard to say goodbye to the warm friendliness of the Cambodian people. We were also blessed to be able to spend some quality time ALONE and nourish our marriage! Praise God!
