So, a quick little update on what’s going on in my life. In 10 days I will be leaving for training camp in Gainesville, Ga.  Honestly, I have no words for how excited I am to meet my teammates, learn more about what I will be doing for the 11 month mission and find out what we will be doing for the next 10 days in preparation. Training camp will be intense and challenging, but very crucial for this trip. I have my concerns, but I am trusting in the Lord to lead me and if I follow him everything will be as He planned. Once training camp is over my plan is to head back to Southern Pines, NC  for two weeks, then move back to Georgia late June.  When I am home I hope to meet with several supporters and make contacts with people I have not yet reached out to. There’s roughly $7,000 left to raise. On August 3rd, I will head to Atlanta for Launch. We fly to Ukraine and begin our journey.  Life really does seem to be moving so fast right now but I am excited for what the Lord has planned for me. Looking back I really don’t think I had any idea how much God  was going to use the time prior to leaving to grow me.  It’s been an honor and privilege to make it this far with the World Race and I am so excited to see what the Lord will do these next 13 months.

Prayer requests:

  1. I would go into camp with a humble, open and selfless attitude ready to grow and be strengthened in my relationship with God and my teammates

  2. My team…. Please pray for us at training camp as this will be intense and draining.

  3. World race leaders! During training camp these leaders will have the responsibility of splitting my squad up into teams. This will be a tough challenge since most have never met in person and they will have to pair us up based on how well they believe we will get along.

  4. Fundraising!! That the Lord would provide and I would meet my deadline goals.
  5. Family and friends…I will miss my family and friends when I leave in August…..please pray that as I say good bye to them it will go smoothly.
  6. Preparation….I am able to get all the supplies that I will need.
