it’s been an amazing week! And I got the urge to write a blog about love and loving one another! I was able to be a part of a very holy spirit 5hrs with some of my squad mates on a video chat on Thursday! It was life-changing for me.

Isaiah 41:10

” so do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

So my squad mates and I had a video chat Thursday! And there were about 12 or 13 at any given time for almost 3 hours! It was so awesome to sit and be able to have a genuine conversation with people that you’re going to spend and close community with for 11 months. It’s awesome to get to know fellow believers in their viewpoints on Christ! It’s amazing to see how the Holy Spirit can take each of our testimonies and use them to help one another! My brother Tyler had stated basically that we each hold all the gifts of God but God is the one that orchestrates The uses of them. It was so nice to just feel loved for once! Coming from someone that was not raised with a loving father on earth, I have to say it’s so amazing be loved for who you are no matter what! Lift each other up in our weaknesses because of our weaknesses! And that’s part of the greatness of how awesome our God truly is. He knew we would suffer and suffer greatly! But he has an amazing and impeccable ability of turning all bad things under the good for those that love him!

Romans 8:28

“and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose!

It’s amazing! Absolutely amazing how great our God is! If we could understand all the mysteries of God can you imagine what he would show us? I am so thankful that I personally do not have to take on the weight of the world but just simply play my part. I had someone once told me “does a soldier mettle in civilian affairs? Or does he not just worry about pleasing his commanding officer?

I feel so convicted! But then something else happened. A squad may have got on the video call on Thursday and after about an hour of his earbuds not working and he couldn’t hear us or he could hear us and we couldn’t hear him he was finally able to come in and talk to us! Really for the first time on a video chat with some of his other squad mates! And after a little while he started telling us a story. ( he had been driving around all night or sitting in parking lots talking to us) he was telling us that his mother had moved back up north and he had the opportunity to go with her! But he chose to stay after prayer and consideration. He had been mentoring 15 children since they were in the six grade, and now they’re on the 10th. He went into saying ” I just feel like God is asking me to see this through and not leave these kids”.

Well after a while he had shared something with us. He said he was homeless basically living out of his car and occasional couch! Immediately I felt something unbelievable come over me. It was a love from God that I had never felt before and that all I wanted to do was share it with him. I think that someone has the courage to give up everything everything in the name of Jesus… I think that is absolutely wonderful. I desire the same courage. He cried, I wanted to break down in tears. And the rest of my squad mates were all there to lift him up. I’ve never felt so blessed in my walk with Christ and I did Thursday night. And I’m sure it was something really similar with the rest of whom he shared his story well. I was hesitant about writing this because I was afraid of hurting this person’s feelings  or being insensitive.  I’ve never felt so blessed in my walk with Christ then I did Thursday night. And I’m sure it was something really similar with the rest of whom he shared his story With.  But then something came over me. it’s not being insensitive to talk about how strong someone is. And how much one simple act of obedience can change the course of someone’s life. How by planting seeds of righteousness while sacrificeing every other worldly thing, IS KINDA WHAT CHRIST WAS ALL ABOUT! DO HIS FATHERS WILL!!!!

Luke 2:41-50

(The boy Jesus at the temple)

” every year Jesus’s parents went to Jerusalem for the festival of the Passover. When he was 12 years old, they went up to the festival, according to the custom. After the festival was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among the relatives and and friends. When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

“Why were you searching for me?” He asked. ” didn’t you know I had to be in my fahers house?” But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

We should all strive to be holy and in the presence of God. By searching for his face as it were fine gold and choice Silver. I just want to thank our loving father for orchestrating our lives and most of all our hearts. It’s amazing what one five hour conversation can do to a person. I want to thank everyone who was a part of that video call for you guys are freaking awesome! And even if worse comes to worse and I can’t go on the race I am still better having met all of you! I would rather have you guys as Brothers and sisters!

I cannot wait to see everyone in October
