So, a couple MAJOR things have happened since the end of Cambodia. For starters, we have changed teams around an I am now with a completely new set of people for my team. I have already spent a month with them in Swaziland and I can’t even describe how excited I am to be with them. It really is an iron sharpening iron type of team. We all have very similar personalities and love to joke around, but we also take absolute joy in helping each other grow an coming alongside one another in our struggles. I could not have asked for a better team to be put with. Even though there was an immense amount of growth in Cambodia with my previous team, I believe it was time to move on and not make spiritual growth such a fight for everyone. Whether my previous team will admit or not there was some personality differences, that’s just what happens when there are 40+ strangers on this trip, but when that is not there it is a lot easier to be close with each other. I will never forget or be ungrateful for all my past team has done for me, but I am excited to see where this next team will take me.
Another big piece of news is that I am now officially writing this blog as a FULLY FUNDED World Racer!!!!! I just wanted to thank all of my financial and prayer supporters from the bottom of my heart. As cliche as it is, I would not be here without your help. God is going to bless you abundantly for sending me on this trip to help build His kingdom, because by investing in me you invested in every single person that I have and will come in contact with this trip. Thank you so much again and I can’t wait to tell you in person what God has done to me and others on this trip. It has really been a growing experience for me throughout this fundraising process. On my first mission trip to Haiti I had to raise $1,000 and I thought that was an insurmountable goal. I quickly and easily reached that goal and got to go to Haiti, which is where I got my heart for missions. Then I signed up for this trip and had to raise $16,000+!!! I even thought I was crazy, but God really showed his provision and actually much quicker than I expected. So thank you all again so much for being a part of this amazing journey and helping me be able to fulfill God’s calling for me. God bless all of you!!!
