1. As you can guess by seeing when I am posting this, I am the ULTIMATE procrastinator. 
2. But I work really well under pressure and I always get the job done.
3. I love to draw and design and studied architecture in college.
4. After college, I felt the need to pursue my passion for firefighting, and now am an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).
5. Training Camp rocked my socks and God told me I needed to be open to letting my dream go. It was hard.
6. He then proceeded to tell me that He might use me on the missions field for a longer unknown period of time. This was harder.
7. My favorite color has always been blue because it reminds me of water and of refreshing.
8. I have an older brother James, 2 years older. and a little sister, Carolyn, 4 years younger.
9. I was born and raised here in LA, but I love seeing the world to see how other people live and eat and act in other cultures.
10. I LOVE the outdoors. I love backpacking, and hiking, and swimming in rivers, and climbing. I see God in nature.
11. According to personality tests, I am an introvert, but I don't like to believe I am. I get energy when I am around other people and I can get crazy.
12. I'm spontaneous and impulsive and adventurous and seem to enjoy taking risks. Ask me anything, I am DOWN.
13. I've always wanted a tattoo on my forearm. I think I will most definitely get one on the race, but am hesitant on where to put it because Fire and EMS does not allow visible tattoos…
14. In 2nd grade, my brother and I were out in the neighborhood riding our bikes with our little gang of friends. We were going down a hill when my front tire hit my brother's back tire and I flew like superman and went face first into the concrete. I chipped my front tooth in half.
15. I love snowboarding. I broke my left arm off a jump. 2 weeks later I was up on the slopes again riding with my cast on.
16. I love trying new things. New experiences are always great experiences.
17. I have a tendency for Spanish speaking countries. I don't know why, I just love the people in Latin America.
18. I'm also really excited for India and the underground church in China.
19. I've been bungee jumping, but have been waiting yearrrrs for someone to go skydiving and hang gliding with. Maybe on the race..
20. I love all kinds of foods. I see it all as a gift from God to enjoy, so I will enjoy it!
21. I just love cultures. I love seeing how other people dress, and act, and eat. I'm VERY excited to see how other people around the world love Jesus.
22. I love children. My heart is for children and orphans. I wonder if I will open an orphanage one day..
23. I come alive at night. And as long as I'm doing something, I don't really need sleep. (also helpful for architecture)
24. I love animals. Esp dogs. I was very sad when I couldn't adopt a dog because of the race.
25. Some people are afraid to ask so maybe I should explain. Both my parents are korean, but my father was adopted from korea when he was 13 by the Johnson family due to financial struggles. We keep in touch with his biological family, and his former last name "Kim" lives on through my and my siblings middle names.
26. I'm a strong believer in communication. Good communication solves everything.
27. I have a need for speed. My first ticket was when I was 16, going 110mph. $1400 fine, 1 year license revoked, jail time for attempted manslaughter. I am so thankful to Officer Brown for marking me down for 99mph and reducing it to $380, 1 month suspension and no jail time! I believe I learned my lesson though..
28. I'm bad at learning languages, but I am determined to (re)learn Spanish before we get to our Central American countries!!
29. I am an extremely visual learner. And I don't forget a face.
30. I am an extremely curious person.
31. When we were little, my brother and I would fight for the misshapen peanuts, cherries, etc because he told me I might get superhero powers like spiderman.
32. I spell my name as Jo not Joe. But I don't correct people.. 
33. More people call me Jo Johnson than just Jo or Joseph.
34. I have a desire to have a pilots license one day.
35. I don't like video or computer games.
36. I taught myself how to swim and drive stick.
37. I like to journal, but blogging is really hard for me. This World Race recommendation of twice/week will be a challenge.
38. I refuse coffee and energy drinks as much as possible because I don't want to become dependent on caffeine. 
39. I believe in "forget good enough. keep waiting for can't live without."
40. At home, I eat constantly. I always need to be eating something.
41. I played basketball and tennis in high school.
42. In high school I backpacked in the Grand Canyon at Havasu for a week. It was one of the most awesome weeks of my life and I still love meeting new people who have gone there also.
43. My all-time favorite movies are Good Will Hunting and Remember the Titans. I love movies btw.
44. I love John Piper and Francis Chan.
45. I am SO excited for the Olympics. I love when there are events that bring the world together, and for that period of time, we are celebrating the collaboration of all races.. the Human race.
46. I secretly wish I could compete in the Olympics in the triathlon. I can't imagine how amazing of an experience it must be to see all your hard work and dedication culminate in such a spectacular moment when you cross the finish line.
47. Two summers ago, a team and I built a school in the Brazilian jungle, got funding for a teacher and a school bus driver from the Dept of Education, then backpacked through Bolivia and Peru.
48. I just got back from my 3rd summer in Belize running VBS. What always brings me back are the kids and the relationships I've made with them.
49. Hence I love the World Cup also. In 2014, I plan to backpack from Columbia, to Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, to end up in Brazil hosting the 2014 World Cup.
50. Halfway through this list, I thought it'd be hard to finish.. but now I wish I could write more. O well, I like getting to know people in person anyway.
