Hello hello from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!!!
First of all, I want to tell everyone about my NEW team, Abundant Pursuit! Spending the last four months with the beautiful ladies of Team Sonflower was incredible, but ultimately I have more things to learn from other people. For this reason, my squad went through team changes, and I am happy to have a new family to travel with for the coming months! Our team name represents the way that the Lord pursues us– abundantly, the way we want to pursue one another– abundantly, and lastly, the way we want to pursue those that we will be ministering to– ABUNDANTLY! We want to be seekers of the Lord and seek others out of the abundance of love and joy that the Lord has given us, so that’s why we call ourselves Abundant Pursuit!! I’m so excited to do life with these ladies and get to know them better!

Our ministry this month looks a lot like the ministry that I did last month in Guatemala. We will be doing ATL this month or Ask the Lord. This means that every morning, we wake up, spend some time in Scripture and prayer, and then we ask the Lord to guide our steps for the day. Some days, this looks like taking sandwiches to the homeless people on the street, and other days this looks like going to the mosques and talking to the Muslim women outside about their beliefs. Wherever the Lord leads us, we will go. We just have one goal– to love the people that the Lord puts in our path like He loves them. So far, we have made so many friends in the city, and it’s awesome to see these relationships form and hear the stories that others have to share.
Will you join me and my team in prayer this month? Pray for boldness as we talk to strangers. Pray for protection as we profess our faith in a country that is predominately Muslim. Pray for guidance as we live our daily life with “no set plans.”
