Being on the other side of the world has its benefits. One of those being I get to gorge on turkey and pumpkin pie 16 hours before you! : )
I am past the point of full, and am telling myself I will never eat again. This can only mean one thing: great success! Tim and I went to Mega Mall yesterday and picked up groceries for our feast today.
Nor, a lady that works at the restaurant, and I threw together the ultimate Thanksgiving dinner! It’s not every year you get to prepare Thanksgiving in a commercial kitchen, after all!
I figure I’d share my Thanksgiving with photos. Enjoy!
Prepping the mashed potatoes
I’m hoping this picture is prophetic of my future!
Nor and I
The MVP of the dinner (this little guy was RM94, about $35 bucks!)
And worth every penny!
The spread…we made the pumpkin pie from scratch, using a local pumpkin
I made a greenbean casserole, mashed potatoes, and Adam bought a cheesecake
Tim sums up this Thanksgiving pretty well
I love you all and am so thankful for every person who has paid my way to be here, who has prayed for me, and who continues to follow along this journey along side me.
We are going to watch Elf tonight, and are hoping to stream the Macy’s Day Parade live online and project it on the big screen upstairs!
Happy Thanksgiving!
