Sorry to have kept you out of the loop for a week. We safely arrived in Kitale, Kenya for February’s ministry. We’ve been blessed with another month of nice accommodations. Another month in a complete house with beds, western toilets, and the first hot shower in 5 months. We are staying with Moses and his family. Moses is a bishop, overseeing 7 local churches. He and his wife are wonderful!
This month’s ministry promises to be varied with possibilities in: hospitals, prison, teaching school children, preaching in open-air meetings, worship leading, visiting orphanages, and getting to speak at a university.
I got to preach at church Sunday which was a blessing! The first part of this week we are at a private school teaching grades 6-8.
Also a first on the Race… I see my breath at night AND have to sleep under TWO blankets to keep warm; a fact I love! Bring on the cold weather.
Next Monday will mark the halfway point of the race… WOW. To think the Race is halfway over is nuts. It is hard to explain the time warp that is the WR, but it is a crazy thing!
Hope all is well back in the good ole’ U.S. of A. Much love from Africa. Tomorrow (2/8) is Maral’s birthday. Be sure to wish her a happy birthday and let her feel the love!
