For some reason before I applied for the race or even applying for it, God put Nepal on my heart. This felt much like the feeling I got about New Orleans before I went. When I watched the video announcing where the routes would go, I was disappointed to see that Nepal wasn’t on the list. I ended up choosing route 4 because I do believe that’s where God was leading at the time and I was intrigued that it was going to four places instead of three like most. I was very happy to meet some of the people on route and I was even able to get coffee with someone who lived in Rhode Island! About two weeks ago I was looking through the routes again (because I occasionally stalk the World Race website…) and I saw that Nepal was added to route 5. Immediately my mind and heart started racing. I decided to reach out to my advisor for he Race and ask if it was possible to switch routes. If she said no then I know that would be a closed door from God, but if she said yes then I would know it was a go ahead from God. After a few days she wrote back and said yes! I took some time to pray about it and consult with some people and I landed on the decision to change routes! I will now be headed to Guatemala, India, Nepal, and Swaziland. I am beyond excited and grateful that I will be able to go to Nepal! I met some of my new Race members this week and I have a total peace that these are the people I’m supposed to be serving with and that this was the right decision. God is so cool how He puts everything together.

I want to thank everyone that has supported me so far on this trip, your prayers and financial donations have been such a blessing and encouragement!

***Nothing about my route has changed besides where I will be going. I am still raising the same amount and leaving on the same day. ***
