I’ve been in Ecuador for 5 days! My team is absolutely amazing and I love our tribe. I’m being challenged physically, emotionally, and most of all spiritually challenged. It’s crazy! I’ve been noticing God in the tiny details. I’m usually an introvert but being the only one who speaks Spanish, I have to be a translator for everyone. I’ve met so many Ecuadorians, Colombians, and Venezuelans. It was uncomfortable initially but it’s been so freeing. I’ve been the middle (wo)man for Holy Spirit conversations and it’s such a blessing that I get to be a small part of the story. (Maybe I’m discovering that I’m actually a secret extrovert and didn’t know it. That’s the other thing I’ve really been learning about is identity). I want to remember this forever. It’s such a great reminder that sometimes all God wants you to do is have a conversation with a stranger. You don’t have to go overseas to evangelize. You can evangelize right where you are. Man I wish I could spend more time telling all the stories about all the people I’ve encountered on this trip and the things God is changing in my heart. But I gotta catch a 5 hours bus ride home. Talk to you soon!!!!
