I’m going to Thailand and Cambodia!!

This is happening people! And I couldn’t be more excited. Most of y’all know that I’ve always had a love for travel; my life goal is to go to every single country (that’s 195 countries, by the way ha!). Along with that love for adventure comes a passion to serve and to share the love of Christ to unreached places, whether that’s in my hometown or Southeast Asia.

So why World Race?

For starters, it simply matched my agenda. I was looking for a mission trip that I could go on this next spring semester, after I graduate high school in December.

A lot of people asked me why I wanted to graduate early; they said I shouldn’t rush through high school, that I should enjoy the experience. Although true, I really felt that I would benefit and grow more on this trip than I would my second semester of senior year.

It will also be a great time to devote myself solely to serving God’s people and to grow in my relationship with Him without any of the distractions that I would have here. I’m looking forward to taking a step back from my fast paced life to simply rest in the presence of God and His people.

Then, after a good long Google search, I could literally feel my heart start racing as I read through the World Race website and mission statement, because it so perfectly matched my heart and my reasons for doing missions – to selflessly serve and spread the heart of Jesus around the globe. It’s that simple. Most people my age feel so much pressure on finding their purpose in life, but God already gave that to us and it’s SO simple – to love God and love others. That’s it. I don’t know about you but that changes my whole perspective and gets me so pumped!

Join me!

So that’s what I’ll be doing and why I’m doing it! If you want to be a part of this adventure, I would love to have you on my team for Jesus!! Prayer, prayer, prayer. It’s so underrated yet so important. Specifically prayer for preparation of my heart and opportunities for my team to reach the people of Asia. If you’d like to help financially, that’s cool. If not, that’s cool too. Please let me know and you can donate or purchase a T-shirt on this page!

Thanks a milly!!
