Isaiah 42:14-16 New International Version (NIV)

14 “For a long time I have kept silent,
    I have been quiet and held myself back.
But now, like a woman in childbirth,
    I cry out, I gasp and pant.
15 I will lay waste the mountains and hills
    and dry up all their vegetation;
I will turn rivers into islands
    and dry up the pools.
16 I will lead the blind by ways they have not known,
    along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light before them
    and make the rough places smooth.
These are the things I will do;
    I will not forsake them.”

How fierce a Love is this

A Love that will fight off muzzles and cry out with a violet face

Heart beating

Breath shaking

Eyes flooding

Hands trembling

A Love that will tap into the depths of all that is known

Fighting off cultural chains

Throwing aside personal gains

Shaking nature with heavy rains

Cleansing white robes with heavy stains

A Love that will go to all extremes

Working day and night in the garden for creation’s song to be sung

Calling out the prophet with coal on tongue

Giants falling by the hands of the young

Grace given with the price of The Holy Lamb to be hung

The other night, I read this verse in Isaiah and started weeping. I was reminded of the extreme lengths that God will go for the one. He gave everything He had for the blind to come home and turn the lights on. His passion for people to know His name is so fierce and I want that. I’m tired of sitting silent when there are billions of people that need to hear the sound of Jesus’ name. I want walls to shake and love to spill from the cracks that form. I want those giants to fall and for people to become familiar when the feeling of Home. I want to hear cries so deep for God and harmonies flooding the room. I want to see people break free from the bondage of fear and lies that the Enemy has told them for far too long. I want to partner with this Love as it moves mountains for the masses and takes away the night. I want to see knees hitting the floor and arms hitting the ceilings. I want a love so fierce that it must be renamed.

I want the world to know that they don’t have to wait- that this Love is right here. And this Love will wreck your world.

This Love will set you free from the deepest pains that you have ever felt and it will hold you tighter than ever.

This Love took the weight of everything you’ve done to the cross and this Love fought to His very last breath to say that you, yes YOU, are forgiven.

This Love gave it all and will continue to give it all for you, every second of every hour of every day.

This Love knows you better than you know yourself and this Love knows what you need.

This Love is all the good that you know and this love is winning wars that you cannot see for your life.

This Love never changes.

This Love will never give up on you, no matter how far you’ve run.

This Love is Jesus- and all He wants is your heart.

It’s simple, but it’s been heavy on my heart to share this with you guys. I don’t know who needed to read this, but know that God is closer than your breath and He has redemption in His hands held out for you. You are loved and you are chosen.
