Hi friends, I’m so glad you’ve found yourself on my blog and I hope you stay and join me on this oh so crazy/amazing/heart wrenching journey I will be pursuing for 9months. For you who know little to nothing about me here is a few facts:

  • I am 5’2. Shortest in the family. Everyone else is around 6 foot.
  • My brother started bringing me to the gym when I was in 8th grade and I’ve been a gym fanatic since.
  • I enjoy sour way more than sweet.
  • If you walked in my room all you would see is neutral colors.
  • Baby’s breath is my favorite type of flower.
  • I have a tendency to venture out impulsively when I have free time (good or bad thing? depends.)
  • I enjoy watching and playing soccer.
  • I am a asthma victim but that doesn’t stop me!

Now being 18 going on 80 there are decisions on top of decision needing to be made. I’ve always been independent; I have definitely left God out of my decision making process before but having been feeling this pull on my heart for two years now knowing this is God’s decision for me and I’m not the only one making decisions here. Growing up being deprived from the ability to go on mission trips, serve others face to face and yet having this heavy heart for it all then stumbling on something like the World Race is definitely meant to be.

Comfort, warmth, and familiarity will be taken away from me physically for 9 whole months but in place of that all those things will be found spiritually with God. I couldn’t be more excited to see how the Lord will shape me from here on out in all circumstances.
