I know I can easily get caught up in things, so I want to pause to share a few life updates with you all!
BIG life update: I graduated high school about 2 weeks ago!!!! It’s so exciting to know that I am finished with high school and moving forward. It made this whole world race gap year thing feel 10x more surreal.
COUNTDOWN UPDATE: Training camp is just a short 29 days away which means I am so close to finally being able to meet my team (GO U-SQUAD)!!!! These are the other 50ish awesome peeps that I will be with throughout my world race journey. Now for the biggest countdown of all…LAUNCH! Launch is currently 90 days away, but after training camp, I will only be 50 days out from launch! Time is ticking and the days are flying by faster than I could have imagined.
FUNDRAISING UPDATE: The best news of all!!!!! I hit my first fundraising goal of $5,000! God is good and working miracles through this fundraising process! I am currently at $6,314 and 39.96% funded. With another $1,586 I will be HALFWAY FUNDED, and with $3,686 I will reach my second fundraising goal of $10,000 that is due in August. Which means I can jump on the plane in September and head out on this 9 month adventure of sharing His good news! I still have a long ways to go, so if you are curious on how you can financially join me in this journey I would love to speak with you! I am still selling t-shirts until the beginning of July, and you can find images of the shirts/colors under the “photos” tab to the left. They are $20, and $25 to ship. I am also still doing my adopt a box fundraiser! SO many boxes are available, so lets fill that board!!! I am working on sending out a second round of support letters, so if you would like to receive one, please contact me with your address and I will have one sent your way.
